Ingredients
- 2 tbs. butter
- 1 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 tbs. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 tbs. Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 12 oz. fettuccini noodles
Instructions
- Melt butter in 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Mix heavy whipping cream, garlic, mushrooms, flour, salt, and pepper and stir into butter.
- Boil for 1 minute. Stir frequently with wire whisk.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in nutmeg and set aside.
- Cook fettuccini per package instructions.
- Drain pasta.
- Spoon alfredo sauce over fettuccine and top with Parmesan cheese.
