Ingredients

  • 2 tbs. butter
  • 1 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tbs. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 4 tbs. Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 12 oz. fettuccini noodles

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Mix heavy whipping cream, garlic, mushrooms, flour, salt, and pepper and stir into butter.
  3. Boil for 1 minute. Stir frequently with wire whisk.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in nutmeg and set aside.
  6. Cook fettuccini per package instructions.
  7. Drain pasta.
  8. Spoon alfredo sauce over fettuccine and top with Parmesan cheese.
