This four-bean chili is a hearty and delicious one-pot meal, perfect for a cozy night in. Lean ground beef is browned with onions, garlic, and chili seasoning for a flavorful base. Kidney beans, pinto beans, dark red kidney beans, and chili beans are added along with diced tomatoes and water to create a thick and hearty chili. Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 14.5 oz. cans Mexican style diced tomatoes
- 1 package chili seasoning
- 1 30.5 oz. can chili beans
- 1 15.5 oz. can pinto beans, drained
- 1 15.5 oz. can kidney beans, drained
- 1 15.5 oz. can dark red kidney beans, drained
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- In large cooking pot, cook the ground beef, garlic, chili seasoning, and chopped onions over medium-high heat until beef is browned.
- Add tomatoes and all of the beans.
- Pour in 1 cup of water and mix together gently.
- Cover and simmer over low heat 1 hour.
